About Windermere Island

The private, peaceful, Bahamian paradise of Windermere Island off the Atlantic coast of Eleuthera is home to a 5-mile long pink sand beach and small, friendly group of homeowners.

Accessed by a round-the-clock guarded bridge, Windermere Island is located near the Savannah Sound settlement in central Eleuthera with entrance limited to residents and their guests.

You won’t find shops, hotels or guest houses on Windermere, although some residents occasionally rent their homes. A members private club, The Club at Windermere opens seasonally with facilities such as a bar and dining room, gym, pool, and tennis courts.

Annual Membership
